MEGT is thrilled to announce that it has once again been engaged to provide Australian ¸Ø½»ÊÓƵship Support Services (AASS) from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2026.Ìý

The news means MEGT remains the single largest ¸Ø½»ÊÓƵship Network Provider (ANP) in the country, having provided these services continuously since 1998. AASS will replace the existing Australian ¸Ø½»ÊÓƵship Support Network (AASN).Ìý

Under the terms of the new contract, MEGT will provide support for apprentices, trainees and employers on behalf of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) in six out of eight employment regions across the country:Ìý

  • Outback Western AustraliaÌýÌý

While MEGT will not deliver the AASS program in South Australia and Tasmania from 1 July, it is committed to retaining a strong strategic presence by continuing to operate all other existing business units in both states.Ìý

The new AASS contract introduces some exciting changes to the way apprenticeship services are delivered, with a strong focus on improving commencement, retention and completion rates. These include:Ìý
